FIRST DAY

My first day on the ship! Boarding was smooth! We were able to take care of logistics like internet early on before we headed to dinner- where they sat us by a window and gave each of us roses.

We definitely stand out.

I mean.

I must've been asked a minimum of 30 times yesterday some combintstion of, "How old are you?" "How can you afford this trip?" "You're REALLY doing the entire 128 days?" Or simply telling Shauna and myself that we must be the youngest guests on the ship. We've been mistaken for crew several times... sometimes even by the crew! I have to laugh, Shauna and I both said we felt like celebrities. Not too sure how to feel about that yet.

We've already made friends with some of the crew. Because we stick out like a sore thumb they do a GREAT job at remembering our names, or they call us THE ladies (haha).

My sweet Mom and Bill surprised us with gifts in our stateroom. There are balloons outside the door (which help us remember which cabin is ours... this ship is HUGE.) They also got us chocolate covered strawberries, and a Bon Voyahe bottle of Sparkling wine.

After dinner we explored the ship with a mimosa in hand. (I think we found the crew hangout... and Shauna and I are going to try to find out more about that haha.) We played some cornhole, listened to some music, signed up for sunrise stretch for 7am (which of course we missed and slept in until after 9am the next day).

Today (Day 2) will likely consist of refining which excursions we want to do, some more exploring of the ship, the fitness center, and finishing up unpacking.

Tomorrow: Jamaica !!!!!
